Cyber attacks frequently made national headlines in 2023. The diverse activities and scale of the organizations targeted indicate that every company is a potential target. How do Belux companies perceive this threat and what means are they deploying to combat it? Together with trading partners Proximus SpearIT, Davinsi Labs and Telindus Luxembourg, Proximus NXT polled CEOs, CIOs and other decision-makers on the topic for the fifth consecutive year.

• We are a member of the Cybersecurity Coalition , a national group that is improving the resilience of Belgian organizations against cybercrime.
• We work with the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) to share knowledge and exchange information in the field of cybersecurity.
• We work closely with other European telecom operators via the ETIS platform, where we serve as treasurer and board member. We actively participate in the security working groups and chair the SOC group (Security Operations Center).
• We work with the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) on the Belgian Anti-Phishing Shield (BAPS). This alliance between Belgian telecom operators warns internet users before they visit an unsafe website. In 2024, BAPS prevented customers from accessing 1.6 million fraudulent websites.
• We are a director of the Agoria initiative ʽCyber Made In Belgium’ (CMIB).
• We hold ISAE 3000/SOC 2 - Type II certification for our managed security services, showing that we have strong IT security and privacy and that we process our customers’ data with the utmost care.
